Comments received from Touring side that have visited Woodingdean

I have been asked by Balsham Bowls Club members to thank you very much for your excellent hospitality during our recent tour. After a wet and windy start to our tour we arrived at Woodingdean on Sunday 7th September to the best reception, and company we have experienced in thirty seven tour matches. The green was excellent, bowling friendly, but competitive, bar prices unbelievable and the friendship shown to players and spectators will never be forgotten.
